DESCRIPTION:Join fellow growers for an immersive\, one-day bus tour through
  Central South Dakota to explore the systems and technologies making local
  specialty farms more efficient and climate-resilient. S.D. Specialty Prod
 ucers Association (SDSPA) encourages farmers\, resource providers\, and ot
 hers interested in agriculture to attend this circuit tour of operations n
 ear Miller\, Frankfort and Clark\, S.D.\nDuring SDSPA’s final “Small F
 arms\, Big Ideas: Summer Farm Tour”\, participants will see producers in
 terested in maximizing farm resilience by using technology\, regenerative 
 practices\, value-added production\, and specialized production techniques
 . Farm stops include:\n\nStop 1: Value-added herbs\, commercial kitchen pr
 ocesses: Farm Mom Phenom in Miller\, SD (Kelly Johnson)\nStop 2: Water cat
 chment\, starting transplants\, wifi-connected soil sensors &amp\; tempera
 ture monitoring: Lillow’s Acres in Frankfort\, SD (Dennis &amp\; Traci C
 lemens)\nStop 3: Composting\, regenerative no-till gardening\, USDA-NRCS r
 ainfall simulator: Thunder Mountain Garden in Clark\, SD (Shane Jordan)\n\
 nYour $16 registration includes all-day bus transportation\, a catered sac
 k lunch\, and refreshments at our farm stops. This tour will board at Fore
 man Bus Company\, in Miller\, SD. Click the button below for registration

 mfortable\, closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather.  Participants sho
