The Sioux Falls Ballooning Association held the 36th annual Great Plains Balloon Race this summer. Hundreds came to watch the event at Kenny Anderson Park. Photos by Dean Pearson.

This year's event was held June 11. -
The event also featured a "walk-in" balloon filled with cold air for people to explore. -
People of all ages enjoyed watching the race of skill. -
